Objective: Use bone-conducting transducers to make a headband that plays music only I can hear.
Problem: The wires would disconnect frequently inside the headband when I placed it down.
Solution: Reinforced multiple solder joints with electrical tape and hot glue to reduce strain on the joint itself.
The idea: listen to music without invasive earphones, comfortable enough to wear while lying on a pillow.
Components: audio Bluetooth board, 5V step-up board, 3.7V LiPo rechargeable battery, switch, and 2 vibration cells. The cells turn any rigid surface they're placed on into a speaker by vibrating it at audible frequencies. Held against your skull they vibrate the bone, which vibrates the eardrum — sound, no earpiece, ears free.
